New Hanbok

My sweetie outgrew her Hanbok (the national dress of Korea). Her last one was handmade by myself. With much muttering and grumbling under my breath. I'm just not patient enough to sew satin and brocade.

I asked my Bonus Mom if she could help and make a new dress for Little Miss. She runs a lovely shop in Portland called Handmaids Dressmaking and Custom Studio. After a fabric run to pick out gorgeous brocade and satin, measurements of Little Miss, and a stop at Abundant Yarn and Dyeworks for lunch. (Hey, I was in the area, I couldn't drive past the store without stopping!)

I must say the results are stunning! I had Little Miss put it on today and model. Of course her cat wanted in on the fun.

She's so cute and the dress turned out gorgeous! Maybe you should make a matching one for the kitty. :D

Adorable! The dress is beautiful, and I *love* the shiny green.
